Ahoy there friends on the internet!!

Look! I'm not dead! Neither am I in a coma. Nor trapped in a cabinet.

Three things I am very pleased about, among the many many other things that also please me.

So whats new in your worlds?

Not much new at this end. The business is going great! Although we're just coming to the end of a few months of much promotional work, which has left just enough time for orders, but not time for much else on the business improvement side. As our accountant was saying the other day, spending all my time working for the business, and not enough working on the business. How fucked up is that?! I have a fucking accountant! *cackle*

And now I'm off to read about ninjas on the internet, because its good like that.

It makes me feel like such a fake, as it keeps making me laugh cos it sounds so grown up, and I so don't.

We do everything on excel, so we're all very organised. The accountant said did I want to come and work for him to do his excel equations. *cackle*

What's new in my world...? Hmm.

Work = awesome. And I was hired perm. I love it here. Got to go to the Game Developers Conference at Moscone in SF this week on company time. Life is pretty damn good.

Now, with housing prices down a well, I'm eyeing my savings and wondering how much of real estate I can buy if I save like a madwoman for the rest of the year. On the one hand, I hope the economy turns around. On the other hand, I hope housing prices continue to decline...

I should get out more.
Got accepted to a singing troupe who portray Venetian courtesans. Now must make new dress and fit my expectations of period accuracy to someone else's standards. But we get paid gigs outside of Faire, so it's extra spiff. Other activities will probably be taking a backseat to this, since I've been taken for granted by a number of said organizations for awhile now.

Also: Victorian porn. Woot.

Good job on getting an accountant though! I had to do the Exs account for her business through my personal accounts, boy was that a mistake!

You still selling at the clubs in London or working out of home now?

We've been selling at festivals and various clubs up north, and meaning to get down to London to do some of the big events down there, and just not had the time to organise ourselves yet. But now the big London events are coming up here to us instead! *cackle* Skin Two are doing their first Skin Two North Summer Ball in Leeds in July which we're involved in.

Our online sales are thriving as well, and we're now being sold out of 4 shops in 3 different countries, and have just had trade catalogue requests by a couple more shops, which is ace. :) Across the board, we're in constant growth, which is awsome as we're both working our fucking asses off! *cackle* And still not paying ourselves much. Ahh well, we love it anyway. :)

dumb q, is the leisure centre the metropole?! and u will most certainly see us about, am best man at my best friends wedding which is uber cool! and dont suggest pulling the head bridesmaid, as we kinda jumped ahead a bit with that! ;p

Naah, the Leisure center is inbetween the Spa and the Metropole, on the opposite side of the road from the sea of course. If I remember rightly, its over a couple of car parks/some grass. It'll be our first time trading there this year. We didn't before because we didn't think anyone knew where it is, but we went for a quick look last whitby, and its massive and was packed with people!! (Unlike the Met where we were trading, which is small and cramped, and was absolutely dead.) I think its just you and us who don't know where it is. ;P
